Who will be cleaning my home?

 

An assigned team of trained service professionals will clean your home. Our cleaning staff is grouped into teams based on the size of your home and your specific requirements.  If ongoing service is requested, we strive to send the same team each time.

 

How will our relationship work?

 

We know we must earn your trust and approval each time we visit your home. That is why we do not ask you to sign a contract in the first 90 days of residential service. Commercial cleaning is on contract basis. We depend on open communication and your honest evaluation of our service. We appreciate when you let us know how we can serve you better.

 

What time will you come to my home?

 

Our normal workdays are Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 8:00 pm. In most cases, it is possible to give a specific timeframe when we will arrive with a 30min window.  We will make every effort to meet your needs for cleanings outside of normal business hours and on the weekends. Simply discuss this with our office to make arrangements.

 

 

What do I have to do before the cleaning?

 

In order for the time we spend in your home to be as efficient as possible, we ask that you pick up clothing, toys, or other household items. This allows us to focus on cleaning the area rather than organizing the items. Help with organizing is a service we can provide, but the standard visit is designed to conduct a thorough cleaning.

 

How do I pay for the service?

 

You may pay by cash, check or credit card. Payment is due at the completion of service. If you do not intend to be at home at time of service, you may choose to leave the payment on the kitchen counter. If you choose to pay by credit card, our team members can process the transaction using a credit card reader during the visit. Credit card payments can also be made on our website or we can keep your credit card information on file at the office and charge your card once each cleaning is completed.

 

What about after hours maid service?

 

We understand the need to be flexible.Everyone has a different schedule and we will do our best to accommodate you with after hour maid service if required. Move-in or move-out house cleaning can also be arranged in the evening or on the weekend.

 

Commercial Cleaning schedules are available during office hours or after. Simply discuss with our office to make arrangements.

 

What about holidays or changing a cleaning visit?

 

If your scheduled cleaning falls on a major holiday, we may contact you to reschedule your service. Please understand that most major holidays is a high volume time, so schedule ahead to assure your appointment. If you need to change a scheduled cleaning visit, we appreciate a 72-hour notice. When short notice is given, we will do our best to accommodate you.

 

Do I need to be home when you arrive?

 

Most of our customers are not home when we clean. Only the professionals who will be cleaning your home will have access to it. To insure added security, all house keys are individually coded and cross-referenced. If you choose not to provide a key and we are unable to access your home for a scheduled cleaning, you may incur a lockout fee.

 

What is a lockout fee?

 

If you are not home when we arrive or have forgotten to leave a key, you may be charged a fee.  Please understand that our team members have committed to service your home at the time you requested. If they cannot access your home, they are usually forced to park and wait until the next appointment which may be 3-4 hours away.

 

Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?

 

No. We bring all the equipment and professional cleaning supplies. However, some customers request that we use a specific product or their own vacuum, broom & mop. If that is the case, please let us know that you will be providing the cleaning supplies.

 

What should I do with my pets during the cleaning?

 

MEIKA' s Cleaning is a very pet friendly company. Please advise us if you have pets and provide any information that would be helpful for us to know. Though not a requirement, many pet owners prefer to remove their pets from the areas we clean in order for us to clean your home more efficiently.  We always welcome your pets to roam freely if they are not bothered with vacuums, etc.

 

 

Are your rates competitive or negotiable?

 

We constantly evaluate the market pricing and the costs necessary to provide a true value. We feel that our rates are competitively comparable to other companies in the area. We will always consider your budget and needs to arrive at a true value. Remember that "value" does not mean the lowest price. And the best service isn't necessarily the most expensive.. Additionally, our staff goes through extensive paid training. This means that you receive the very best service using the very best cleaning products. We are experts at cleaning, insured against accidents, and motivated to see your complete satisfaction.
